I had a problem with the electricity not working in certain parts of the house. I thought it was a bad breaker and switched it out for a new one. The problem didn’t go away, and I know just enough about electricity to get me in trouble, so I reached out to Garneau Electric. They were very responsive to my pleas for help and Jacob arrived to help solve the problem. He actually arrived early; they called ahead to make sure that was okay. After confirming the breaker was good, Jacob already had an idea of what the problem might be. Several minutes later he tracked it down to a bad outlet with loose wiring. Replaced the outlet and back in business. Garneau Electric should be pleased to have ambassadors like Jacob representing the company. Thank you very much for turning the lights back on.

I am beyond grateful for this company. On one of the coldest days of the year, my mother's circuit breaker panel was humming/arcing, lights dimming and flickering, and I was beyond terrified the worst would happen. I reached out, and within 24 hrs, Pam called me, even texted because she knew the severity of my email. (She's SUCH a sweetheart, by the way.)
She called me and I explained everything; she said they typically try to give options because, let's be honest, it's expensive just to breathe nowadays. She scheduled me, and the next day Jake came out, and within 30 min he delivered 3 options. We went with replacing the whole panel. The pricing was BEYOND reasonable. They don't nickel and dime you like most. Within 15 hrs of giving the quote, Jake came back, installed the brand new, larger circuit breaker panel, and 4.5 hours later he was on his way. I can at least rest easy knowing my mother has a brand new circuit breaker panel installed by an HONEST company, and although I hope I don't have to see an electrician for a while, if I do, I know who I'm calling. Had a quite convoluted GFCI circuit, modified by the previous homeowner, partially fail, and Jake was able to work through it, including finding a junction box completely hidden in the wall behind a shower.
